Built-in optical stabiliser

The Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 lens for Sony boasts a wide constant aperture, which excels at gathering light, making it ideal for dimly lit venues and low-light outdoor settings. Portable and robust design

A removable tripod foot with versatile Arca-Swiss type grooves allows you to mount the lens foot directly onto the vast majority of tripods and heads, without needing an additional tripod plate. The design also supports rotation for easy switching between horizontal and vertical orientation, while maintaining precise centre of gravity over the support.

Sigma also ensures superior weather resistance, which is consistent with existing Sports line lenses, such as the 150-600mm F/5-6.3 DG DN OS and groundbreaking 10x zoom 60-600mm F/4.5-6.3 DG DN OS Sports. Weather seals enable you to keep shooting throughout rain, snow and in dusty environments where hidden gems are frequently found.

A compact 77mm filter thread permits the addition of lens filters such as a polariser, UV filter and ND filters, which are beneficial when recording video in bright or changeable conditions.
